Moles can appear anywhere on your body. Moles may be flat or raised. Most moles are harmless and can accentuate the aesthetic appeal of one’s face. However, sometimes flat moles can be precancerous and unsightly. So both for health and aesthetic reasons flat moles are very often removed. 1. Remove flat moles using home remedies
1. Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is a very popular home-based mole removal method. Apple cider vinegar is mildly acidic that acts by drying out the moles until they form a scab and fall off. Apple cider vinegar can be store bought from the kitchen supplies. It is not synthetic (or chemically prepared) and is made from crushed apple juice. 2. Garlic Paste
Garlic paste is very effective as a home remedy in clearing away moles. The concoction of enzymes found in garlic paste dissolves the cluster of cells that accumulate at the mole, lightens the pigmentation of the moles, and finally reduces their appearance. Always use the freshly prepared garlic paste on your moles. Leave the paste on for a few hours to let the enzymes work their way. Repeat the process a few times in a day, and repeat the method every day for 5 to 7 days. Consult your doctor to make sure the mole is benign before proceeding with any home remedy. Important instructions to follow before using these home remedies.
1. Don’t let a remedy sit on your mole for more than 15 minutes if your skin is sensitive.
2. If a remedy causes irritation, stop using it with immediate effect.
3. Protect the surrounding area by applying petroleum jelly.
4. Consult your doctor before using them.
5. Avoid direct sunlight.
6. If a remedy has worked for a person, it doesn’t mean it will work for you as well.

2. Apply mole removal creams
Flat moles, if non-cancerous are easily removed with mole removal creams, which are affordable, efficacious and safe. They can be easily used at home and are not required to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist. Mole removal creams fade out the dark pigments in a mole, subsequently removing it completely with minimal scarring. Mole removal creams are available for different skin types, they can be used in different parts of the body including the face.
3. Remove flat moles using surgical shave
Shaving off mole is an effective method to eliminate raised moles. The mole is shaved off with a scalpel and made flush with the skin. Then an electrode is used to seal off the capillaries to prevent any bleeding. The wound is healed by covering with an antiseptic and a bandage. 4. Removal by excision with stitches

5. Laser Removal
Laser removal of a mole is very successful with moles that are small, flat, and non-cancerous. On the other hand, bigger moles raised above the skin surface cannot be removed by laser procedure. The focused beam of laser radiation damages the moles cells, which are subsequently removed by the body’s immune system. Laser mole removal is highly preferred for mole removal on the face as it does not leave behind any scar and could be effective in removing flat moles off your skin.
